Welcome to my home, welcome to my abode, welcome to my wilderness and backpacking journey! I got into backpacking about three years ago and it has been the most eye-opening, life-changing experience of all time! 

My story starts after going through a heartbreaking divorce, sad right? Well it was because of that divorce that I set out on a journey to find myself all over again and met some of the most amazing people and made deep lasting friendships. One of whom is my friend Miguel Munoz. If it weren't for him inviting me to come along on a backpacking test trip with him and his friends I never would have caught the bug. It was a slippery slope that I gladly slid down.  I got into bushcraft, bushcraft instruction, wilderness navigation, survival, long distance backpacking, all of that stuff. And I loved every second of it!

What I want and what I really hope gets through from this endeavor is the community. That has been by far the most amazing thing that has impacted me while out here on this adventure! Every single trail I've been on I have met some of the most kind, funny, and genuine people that you could ever meet.

If you're struggling, you're not the only one struggling, and hikers will come up alongside of you to encourage you and to help you along the way.  The community that's out here and ever growing is just incredible! You wouldn't think it. You would think we're a bunch of dirty hiker trash, as we have been affectionately named, which I wholeheartedly embrace.

You're a part of something bigger and more meaningful and special out here!  Fellowship of the Trail is about capturing that. And it's about bringing you along with me on this quest for camaraderie and adventure! To build our own tramily one hiker at a time, letting our lives be the stories that make you feel alive in a dying world.

I don't want this to be confined to the East Coast.  I don't want it confined to the West Coast. I want this to be global! Adventure and this community aren't restricted to any one region, they reach to every trail in every corner of this beautiful and diverse planet! It's everywhere and I want to bring everyone into it with me!
